My Tryst with Destiny.

Life is a wonderful teacher.Life teaches you lot of things which even Harvard Business School of Management do not teach.To learn from the experiences of life,an individual has to be not only a disciplined avid learner(ever hungry for knowledge) but should also be an intelligent observer with a penchant for small little minute details.
I firmly believe in the gospel cliched truth that"To make a mistake is human but to repeat a mistake is stupid".Therefore,as a matter of fact,I have always tried to learn from my mistakes.
Another gospel truth I have learnt from my Dad & Mom is to "keep walking straight and never look for short-cut avenues when faced with adversity".
Another gospel truth which I have learnt from my Dad & Mom is to remember that"Adversity is the litmus test of an individual's character.And an individual should face adversity upfront and head on without comprising on the value system dearly cherished by a civilised humane society".
The twist and turns of life has taught me and educated me manifold.We live in a highly vitiated atmosphere option unfortunately polluted by the infinite greed,lust,selfishness,corruption,terrorism, and petty crime option.
Knowing fully well that I have to contend daily on a regularly basis with cheats,frauds,and greedy bastards hounding for my pound of flesh,I try to protect myself by taking adequate protective precaution measures for my own safety.
In 2006,I received recommendation letters from Indian Institute of Management(Lucknow) and XLRI(Jamshedpur) for my work in the area of Human Resource Audit for Recruitment,Performance Management System,Performance Appraisal & Reward System,and Training and Development.
My articles ranging from Economic Recession to the role of Corporate Leadership in today's recessionary times have been published in various Journals including Harvard Business Review brought out by Harvard University.
Right now,I am also writing a book on"Crime & Criminal option and Police reforms".I hope my book will raise quite a few eyebrows as in my book I have taken the lid off the nosediving integrity of Indian Police and the growing corruption menace of the Indian Police.The greedy,pot bellied these Police officers have colluded with frauds & criminals to make the life of law-abiding Indian citizens extremely miserable.The most glaring example of this is Mr Ravi Kant Sharma option involved in Shivani Bhatnagar Murder case and SS Rathore option involved in Ruchika molestation case.
On the other hand,the loss of honest officers like Mr Hemant Karkare because of poor quality bullet jacket is equally shocking.
Why Kasab option is not being hanged bewilders me!
On the Global level,the breakdown of conversation at Copenhagen on environmental issues because of petty parochial selfishness is equally disturbing.Pakistan option continues to indulge in cross-border terrorism in the name of "Jammu & Kashmir".
The state of "Jammu & Kashmir"is an integral part of India.Mr Barrack obama should admonish Pakistan option to refrain from Cross-border terrorism option because a strong India can play a pivotal role in helping USA & European economy to get out of the global economic recession.
Let us resolve to make Mother Earth "a safer,greener,peaceful and ever developing planet".

Cricket,Crime,Glamour and Sex option.

"Cricket is played by twenty-two fools and watched by twenty-two thousand fools!,"said George Barnard Shaw while expressing his opinion on Cricket.
George Barnard Shaw,an avid writer and a British citizen,strongly expressed his dislike for cricket,even though, Cricket is essentially a British sport.
Please remember, Cricket as a sport essentially originated in England.The fanatic madness which is associated with Cricket is absolutely baffling & at times disgusting!
As a matter of fact,there is a distinct connect between Cricket and Crime..
There is a distinct connect between Cricket and Glamour.And there is a distinct connect between Cricket and Sex.
Before we deliberate and discuss the serious issue of "Cricket,Crime,Glamour,and Sex,"let us clearly understand the logic that where ever there is excessive money, there is a presence of 'Criminal options and Crime options' in some measure because Money,Glamour and Sex attract 'Crime and Criminal options".
This , I am telling you guys with considerable confidence because I am writing a book on "Crime & Criminal options". And in my book on "Crime & Criminal options," I have dealt in detail about the various facets of "Crime and Criminal options".In my book on "Crime & Criminal options," I have tried to express in detail through investigation the following Crimes:-
a) Shivani Bhatnagar Murder case :- In this case,I would like to know , why Mr. Ravi Kant Sharma option was given life-imprisonment instead of being given capital punishment of Death option.Considering the inhuman nature of the crime, If I were the Judge, I would have given the death penalty option to Mr.Ravi Kant Sharma option.I would like to know, the logic & motive for not giving death penalty option to Mr.Ravi Kant Sharma option.
b) Apart from Mr Ravi Kant Sharma option,there are two other RK Sharma options in Jail for rape charges options.
c) Another question, I would like to ask , why Mr.S.S.Rathore option is not being put behind the BARS ?
Even though, it has been proved beyond doubt of his distinct involvement in the "Ruchika Girhotra Molestation case option".
d)Another IPS officer of Rajasthan Cadre, Mr. Madhukar Gupta option's involvement in the Rape & Murder of a maid-servant still needs to be investigated. And Mr.Madhukar Gupta option needs to be arrested. It is a matter of Shame and an indication of poor Integrity that an IPS officer after commiting a rape and murder crime option is still absconding.
e) Another case which baffles me is the "Arushi Talwar Murder case option".
The way "Arushi Murder case option" was investigated is a clear indication of the distinct nexus between 'Criminals,Crimes and the mighty & powerful bastards'. These criminal bastards have made the life of 'law-abiding Global citizens' miserable & painful.These Criminal bastards have converted 'Mother Earth' into a miserable & stinking Hell. The manner in which 'the forensic report of Arushi's dead body option has been fudged & muddled with, is just .................
incredibly shocking!!!!
It is about time, that God punishes these stinking Criminal Bastards.
Right from 'Bomb blast options to terrorism options to rape, molestation & murder options to petty crime options..........,'many of these Stinking Criminal Bastard options are involved'.
The involvement of people like 'Mr. Ravi Kant Sharma option, Mr.S.S.Rathore option, Mr. Madhukar Gupta option, and the hand-in-glove nexus between Noida police and Criminals involved in Arushi Murder case option sufficiently prove my contention that"these stinking Criminal bastard options have converted Mother Earth into a miserable Hell".
All the above facts have amply been displayed with evidence on Television news channels including "Times Now" news channel.
On the other hand, the loss of upright and honest Officers like"Mr.Hemant Karkare" is shocking & heart-breaking! Why are we not hanging "Kasab option"?What are we waiting for ?
In the light of these glaring facts, I would like to make a submisssion to the Global Statesmen, including Mr Obama , to take up the issue of "Global Police reforms and Global Intelligence gathering for the well-being and security of Global Law-abiding citizens on a more urgent basis" so that innocent law-abiding &
God-fearing citizens like us are not harrassed by Stinking Criminal !
Now, let us discuss the core issue of the stinking nexus between "Cricket, Crime, Glamour and Sex".
The nexus between 'Cricket and Crime' is beyond doubt when you investigate the crime of 'Betting in Cricket'. And mind you,' Who are the people involved in Betting option in Cricket?'.In the recent past a few high profile crickters have been caught red-handed colluding with the offenders of betting in Cricket.Do I need to go into the details of Betting options in Cricket?
I am sure either it is also happening in IPL option or it will happen in IPL option in future. The importance given to 'IPL bidding option' highlighting the money stake option involved in 'bidding option' is extremely shocking and deplorable!
The Times of India published the IPL bidding option on the front page of 20th January and 21st January ' 2010 edition.
I feel Mr.Sameer Jain & Mr.Vineet Jain are big Fans of Mr.Lalit Modi and his IPL option as they have given soooo.... much unnecessary Front-page coverage to the 'IPL bidding option'.
Congratulations! Mr.Sameer Jain & Mr.Vineet Jain for showing such enthusiasm in 'IPL option' in todays's times of Global Economic Recession-hit Environment.

Another fact which explicitly reveals the nexus between 'Cricket & Crime' is the fact that Mr Javed Miandad's(Pakistani Cricketer) son is married to the daughter of the Mafia don option called 'Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar '.
Again this is a fact which is well known to 'The Central Bureau of Investigation, Government of India,New Delhi'.
The above facts emphatically establish the explicit & distinct link between"Cricket and Crime option". There are many more examples & instances that can be cited which could more emphatically establish the link between 'Cricket & Crime options.' But, I would not like to talk about it here because the article of mine on"Cricket,Crime,Glamour and Sex" would get diluted in some measure.
The nexus between "Crime & Glamour" is obvious.The revelation that the Criminal option being tried in Chicago Court "Mr David Colman Headley" and his so-called involvement & interactions with Bollywood Rape swine option like Shiney Ahuja and certain others like Mahesh Bhatt's son etc. , is a matter of serious national security concern after 9/11 in USA and 26/11 at Mumbai in India,
which cannot be ignored and overlooked.
Do I need to write more on the nexus between 'Crime & Glamour option' ?
If it is a fact that there is a distinct connect between 'Crime & Glamour option,'......... then it becomes very easy to establish the connect between "Crime & Cricket option".
Any person with ordinary intellect can conclude the distinct & explicit connect between 'Crime, Glamour and Cricket options'.
The presence of Bollywood beauties like 'Shilpa Shetty, Preity Zinta' etc , and also the presence of people like 'Shahrukh Khan' option of Kolkata Knight Riders option, who was recently hauled up at one of the airports in United States by Security & Intelligence Authority of USA is a matter of grave & serious concern especially in today's environmment of corruption in which 'the integrity of Indian Police has nosedived and has become a serious suspect'.
And finally,there is a distinct connect between 'Cricket and Sex'. The concious decision to use skimply-clad in revealing dresses Cheer-leaders in IPL option is a sufficient indication of the IPL authority option's intention to lavishly add 'Sex tadka' to the 'British colonial game of Cricket' to satisy the sexual appetite of spectators.
Hats off to the Extravagant Bidders of the IPL team options , especially , in today's sensitive , tough & heart-breaking times of Global Economic Recession where not only many people have lost even their basic earnings but also many employers like AIG, Lehmann Brothers became bankrupt and the colossal Citigroup too was badly hit ! About Citi Grroup who knows better than the media annointed whizkid,Mr Vikram Pandit.

Key Human Resource Issues before Corporate India

A survey was carried out by a market research firm in 2006 to find out how "Human Resource" is being managed in various Corporate houses in India.Right at the outset,please remember that it is a established fact that human resource is the most valuable resource of a business organization.
The two point briefs for the survey were:-
1) First brief was to identify the key human resource issues before the Corporate India,highlighting the crisis in "Peoples Management",
and
2) Second brief was to bring out the challenges ahead for the Corporate India.
The survey collected response from 653 respondents.Out of which 477 were managers from different line & support functions(Please note,it did not include managers from HR function).
98 Human Resource managers and 78 CEOs.
These 653 respondents were selected from 350 Corporate Houses spanning six metros of
New-Delhi,Chennai,Bangalore,Calcutta,Mumbai,and Hyderabad.
In the first stage of the survey,a mailed questionaire focusing on the CEOs perception of the role of HR in their business Organization was sent to following four genres of Companies:-
a) BT-500 Corporate Houses.
b)Transnationals not part of BT-500
C)Fast growing Corporate houses in terms of sales turnover.
and
d) Public Sector Undertakings.
In the second stage,a structured questionaire was administered to Human Resource Managers of various business Organizations.
The following were the findings of the survey:-
The top eight concerns expressed by Managers rating their Corporate Houses' "Human Resource Management policies and practices were:-
1) The lack of ability of business Organizations to attract the best professionals.
2) Absence of an effective Performance Appraisal & Reward System.
3) Absence of Team-Spirit.
4) Lack of Career growth opportunities and Career Planning.
5) Lack of Job satisfaction.
6) Unsatisfactory HR Practices while implementing Managerial exit.
and
7) Ineffectiveness of exit interviews.
The Survey used these critical issues to highlight the following main areas of disagreement between CEOs,Line Managers and Human Resource Managers:-
a) Recruitment --- 83% of the CEOs surveyed felt that their HR managers do a good job of recruiting people with the requsite skill sets.
Now,please note that the number of line managers agreeing with their CEOs are significantly lower at 72%.
Moreover,there is a consensus among HR managers and line managers that adequate number of people are not always recruited.
b) Job satisfaction --- 3/4(75%) of HR managers and line managers expressed satisfaction with the level of attention paid to Employees welfare and to work culture in their business organization but strongly stressed more needs to be done in these areas.
Now please note the worry,however, is that approximately 91% of CEOs feel that their Corporate Houses are Employee-friendly.
At the same time,please note that only 78% of the HR managers and line managers endorse this point of view. Also, 30% of Managers feel that no effective system for tracking employees satisfaction exist in their Corporate Houses.
c) Information flow --- 76% of the CEOs agree that seniors give adequate performance feedback to their subordinates.
However,only 66% of the line managers and 70% of the HR managers agree to this.
Please note that 79% of the HR managers are of the view that communication of Human Resource policies accurately is a high priority.
However, neither CEOs nor line managers share the HR managers' enthusiasm.
d) Career Planning --- 2 out of every 6 Human Resource managers feel that their business organizations do not have a well-defined career growth plans for all its employees.
However,70% of HR managers and line managers agree that most employees are given opportunities to work in a wide range of functions within the business organization.
e) Empowerment --- 52% of the HR managers and line managers surveyed agree that their business organizations nurture risk-taking abilities in their employees.
1/6th of HR managers and line managers feel that inadequate attention is given to employees' empowerment.
However,68% of the CEOs are of the opinion that Employees enjoy significant freedom in Corporate decision-making. But only 62% of the line managers agree to this.
f) Training and development --- 86% of HR managers and line managers agree that adequate attention is paid to employees growth and development.
However,most of the CEOs feel that more attention needs to be paid to "training and development of employees".
g) Line managers uniformly view the Human Resource function of "Performance Appraisal & Reward System"as an area of grave concern.
Please note,this is where the largest dissonance between HR managers and line managers emerge.
75% of HR managers and CEOs feel that there is a formal Appraisal & Reward System in their business organization.
However,only 68% of line Managers agree to this.
Approximately 72% of Human Resource managers and 54% of the line managers concur about the effectiveness of the "Performance Appraisal & Reward System".
h) Compensation or Salary Structure --- This is another critical area of difference between HR managers and line managers.
75% of CEOs hold that in their business organization "compensation packages ensure maximum employees benefits".CEOs and HR managers agree that their companies' salary packages match the best in the Industry.
However,only 47% of Human Resource managers agree to this.
i) Employees exit --- An uncomfortable issue at best.Firing or removing do not potray CEOs in a favourable light.
70% of CEOs feel that they are humane & fair towards the employees laid off.
The Final Analysis:-
The road to successful implementation of HR practices in business organization is a continuous process and a long one, as most of it still remains untravelled.
39% of HR managers feel that their companies' HR practices have to catch up with the best in the Industry.
51% of the line managers agree to this.

Love is a wonderful positive human emotion

The year 2009 has come to an end and has become history.And the year 2010 has just begun.

I hope the year 2010 becomes the year of economic revival.I hope the year 2010 becomes the year of unprecedented economic growth.I hope the year 2010 becomes the year in which the good triumphs over the evils of terrorism option,corruption option,and petty crime options.I hope the year 2010 becomes the year in which Mother Earth becomes a paradise of heaven for the law-abiding global citizens.

Hopes and expectations are too many and I hope the year 2010 lives up to our expectation.

As I jog down the memory lane,I remember one incident of my toddler days.I would like to share it with you guys.

It was a typical summer evening.At around 6.30pm in the evening,a light rain started falling and pattering over the roof of my dad's house.My mother was knitting a sweater for my father in the drawing room.My younger brother and my three sisters were watching the engrossing "Star Trek"serial on television.My father was attending to official papers in his bedroom.And I was standing outside staring at the rain and enjoying the musical tone created by the pattering of the rain on the roof top.

My thought process was disturbed by our maid-servant who had brought a glass of milk for me.As I drank the milk,I heard my mother humming a song very softly.As I walked back into the drawing room,I saw my father walking towards the piano.A couple of minutes letter my dad started playing a beautiful music.My Mom looked at my Dad and started singing that song with a greater purpose.My younger brother and my sisters joined the chorus.

For a second, I turned around to look at the rain and then again turned my attention to the song being sung by my mother.As I looked on,my dad gave me a glance and asked me to join the chorus.I did not because deep down I knew that I am a bad singer.My Dad again said,"Come on Anupam,you can sing,"as if he had understood my fear.

Though scared,I hesitantly joined the chorus.My dad looked at me and said,"see,you can sing".

That was the first moment of my experience of "Love".

Truly,"Love"is a wonderful positive human emotion.

Chivalry.......to be or not to be?.....Lend a thought

Hi Friends,

Would like to share a few thoughts which struck my mind today while watching a certain T.V program.............

In Today's times , where Equality of genders holds importance, is Chivalry towards the fairer sex important?

In older times, say, the start of the 20th century, when a lady entered the room , the gentlemen stood up in chivalry, pulled out a chair for her, held the door open for her, etc....... This was a part of the cultured society norms.

Even the ancient Indian Culture advocates respect and care for the fairer sex, in various scriptures and books .

Nowadays , with the women's liberation movement , and the Equality clause coming into being, these gestures are going amiss.

Often we come across such examples.......... the most common being the Metro........where men have forgotten their basics even........ whether it is a lady, an elderly respected citizen - (be it male or female), a pregnant woman, someone with a child.......... noone has the basic manners even to vacate a seat they occupy or even offer one.......!!!!!

Another very common example on our roads is, someone struggling to cross the road , but noone stopping the car to facilitate or allow him/her to do so............ we are just running madly in the day - to- day race. No one has the time or basic manners or I would like to use the word ...........Empathy to do so.

Today , as respected and responsible citizens , do we have the basic courtesy to stop when the Traffic signal turns red ......... leave aside yellow, when we actually are supposed to stop?

My son asked me once, " Mom why do you stop, when others after you are just rushing away and not paying heed that the light has turned Red? why do you need to stop?"

To which I answered," Son, If we as sensible, responsible and literate citizens of the country , donot abide by rules, how do we expect illiterates or the others to.........and this leads to accidents and the so called increased trend of roadrages or roadfights nowadays . Plus, it is our duty to set an example rather than follow the wrong mob!!"

Do you all think this is right what I said?

What are we passing on to our youngsters, in the name of values and culture?

Just the Hi Dad culture.......... where we will see insensitive citizens in future , who'll mess their lives with incidents like the infamous BMW case,or the Jessica Lal case or many others which have followed or will follow!

I am sincerely not against it (Hi culture) , but, these certain basics are the very elementary things to learn n practise.

Today , they are seeing us do the same.......... so they are learning these insensitive values............

How many of us offer a seat to someone more deserving , at public places?

How many of us help a blind person cross the road , despite being busy or in a hurry?

How many of us lend a helping hand to someone in need?

How many of us spend time with the elder generations at our own homes ? .......... they are the ones who have brought us to this level of success where we are today and they just need a little bit of attention and care in the dusk of their lives when they have slowed down......

Have we forgotten that we too will be or may be in such situations someday in future..........so what are we sowing for our future............... INSENSITIVITY????

Coming back to our initial thought................. Chivalry and basic manners...........

Specifically addressed to my male counterparts............ I would like to help you win the hearts of your lovely ladies........ be it girlfriends, or wives, or someone you plan to woo..............

Ladies are always impressed with guys, who are chivalrous and courteous, and have the extra dash of manners, over and above the so-called machoism, they are supposed to be proud of............

Nowadays, females give a lot of importance to the inner qualities you all possess , while assessing someone.......

Though she may be equal on the professional front , still if you show little acts of chivalry ....... you earn a respect in her eyes.

Chivalrous acts like pulling the chair for a female, offering a seat at a public place to someone worthy or in need, humanly acts of helping someone in need (not monetarily but physically), holding the door open to the lady (instead of banging it on her face when she is walking behind you) , showing little-little acts of care........ asking her if she needs a glass of water etc.............. will earn you respect and appreciation, not only on the professional but the personal front too!

On the personal front, it will add to the love, care and sensitivity factor and will be reciprocated equally or rather even more from your female counterparts!

So Go ahead and Win appreciation and hearts, of the ones you all Love!!!

And more so, Be live examples for the generations ahead so that they too respect you all , to impart good values and culture to them!

Smile Please............... It costs nothing...............

Smile is a precious Gift bestowed upon us by God.
Smile is a wonderful thing........... it makes the person who recieves it........ rich, and, the one who distributes it or spreads it, even richer. It clears mental blocks n makes things .........RRock!!!!!
This is one thing which goes against the normal rule, 'that distributing leads reduction.'
It costs nothing ............ but, does make a difference in our and the other person's lives.
Try to think ................ there are 2 people standing, one has a frown n irritated look on the face........, the other has a pleasant n smiling look...............
Whom would you like to go to n talk?
A Smiling n pleasant facial expression is always inviting......... n one feels the Positivity and happiness a smile can spread.
Smiling is an art..........It is an important and integral part of a person's personality.
Smiling with a natural look and unbiased intentions , impresses others. Whereas a false smile or, just a showoff smile indicates hypocrisy.
A Small n sweet smile can do wonders.............. it is like a Ray of Sunshine in a dark cloudy setup.......... or a beautiful Rainbow in the rain.
Here I would like to share a context I came across..............
Someone asked a Rose, "You are surrounded by thorns on all sides, but still keep on smiling and spreading happiness, and in contrast, I have been bestowed upon with all the pleasures of life, and still, cant be happy and remain desperate and worried. Can you tell me the secret, so that even I can enjoy life. "
To which the Rose replied , "God has gifted me with Beauty, Fragrance and Juice. I take my existence as an attribute to God and give or distribute these to the world, without expecting anything in return. I donot require praise , name or glory. I strongly n firmly believe in God Almighty and His Grace, and that is the secret of my happiness. "
A mind which is poisoned can never have a nice n pure smile, but in contrast, a pure, nice n
clean-hearted person, has a catchy n infectious smile ....... which has a very positive and inviting effect!
I call upon all my friends...........young and old........sorry.... the young and not so young, but young at heart , to purify our respective minds with nice and positive thoughts and above all........ the belief that whatever God does is always for our good!!!!!
We can't see His longterm planning for us and certain times, to put us on the right and required path, He inflicts upon us certain difficult situations or testing paths ......... treading on which, we gradually come out shining bright, as 'Diamonds come out of Fire.'

So, Keep Smiling in all situations......... whatever be the case.........Happiness or Sorrow.......... and always have one thought prevelant in the mind......... " Maalik tera lakh - lakh shukar hai" or to translate, "A million Thanks to you Almighty for whatever you've given or done."
Life will be a bed of roses and we will Smile always!!!!

Happiness and Sorrow are only states of our own mind, which we'l be able to balance and treat in the same platter ........... i.e we will smile in both situations if we realise the balance.

With our smile we can have a big circle of wellwishers and loved ones ........... coz a smiling n pleasant face draws people towards it.
It is a sign of inner strength!
It is an art to keep the mind and body healthy............ a smiling face leads to spread of happiness within and around!!!!!!
My friends, for this you need not spend anything......... but in turn earn loved ones, inner peace and overall health and happiness.............and achieve or conquer impossible situations certain times!!!!!!

So, Smile Please............. Cheers

A cancer called Pakistan option.

The year 2010 has just begun.Let us resolve not to repeat the mistakes repeated by us in 2009.

On 6.01.2010,I came to know that a few demented terrorist options of Pakistani origin had attacked Indian National civilians at Lal Chowk in Jammu & Kashmir.In the terrorist attack many innocent Indian Nationals got killed.

Mr Barrack Obama,the Pakistan option must be told in stern words that Jammu & Kashmir is an integral part of India.And Pakistan must not export terrorism to India and other parts of the World in the name of "Jammu & Kashmir".

It is about time the global statesmen issued a stern warning to Pakistan option to stop nurturing terrorism option and to stop exporting terrorism to the rest of the world.Apart from this, a serious thought should be given to isolate Pakistan option from the Global economic forum. Also,economic assistance to Pakistan option should be stopped with immediate effect,right Mr Barrack Obama.

If still Pakistan option does not listen to the global advice option,then the last resort should be to attack Pakistan option and wipe the very existence of Pakistan option from the global map.

The world has witnessed & suffered the menace of global terrorism option for a bit too long.The 9/11 in USA and 26/11 in India are living reality of terrorism mayhem instigated by Pakistan option.

Recession combined with terrorism option threatens the very existence of the global socio-economic and political system.

Enough is enough!!!!

And in 2010,let us issue a stern warning to Pakistan option to stop terrorism in general and to stop cross-border terrorism or else face the consequences of annihiliation.

Mr Barrack Obama,you have a very important role to play in restoring Global Peace. And your Noble Peace Prize beckons you to take the first few steps for the issue of a stern warning to Pakistan option. Mr Barrack Obama for God's sake and for the sake of peace loving & law-abiding citizens of the World, you have to take the initiative and run that extra mile to stop the"Cancer called Pakistan option"from spreading terror threat to the Global Peace.

I hope good sense and sanity would prevail.

Law-abiding and peace loving Global citizens have suffered for a bit too long period of time at the hand of a cancerous Pakistan.

So wake up Mr Obama for the cause of global peace.

Food For Thought.........

As the first decade (2000-2009) of the 21st Century has come to an end with the horizon of the New Year 2010, we need to lend a thought to where we are heading towards......... in the name of Liberalisation...............being forward or advanced or modern ............... whatever it be called.
Today , in the newspapers , there were certain pics of people who could not handle themselves after partying on the New Year eve......... some lying on the floor being pulled......... some sitting dazed not knowing what condition they or their clothes are in...........boys and girls or rather ladies n gentlemen alike. Not wanting to elaborate more on it, what exactly I wanted to share is that somewhere the vision is being lost........... though I am not against enjoyment or partying, but one has to be or remain in senses to avoid embarassment or misbehaviour. There is a small line of demarcation between enjoyment and messing up oneself .

The culture n ethics which the families or elders used to impart in the previous years , is slowly diminishing looking to the increasing trend of Nuclear units of families in the name of advancement, not denying that there are pros and cons of each system too.
Everything is "Chalta Hai" as an attitude.
The result being ............ increase in crimes n situations like Rapes, Molestations, Dowry related tortures, Deaths driven by Depressions , deaths due to severe pressures etc.
Earlier Physical Torture was a forte of the lower class , but nowadays , the much so-called Cultured , Well- Literate , Well-Placed , people are indulging in the heinous act of physically beating their wives or girlfriends black n blue!!
One such example was there in today's newspaper where a girl from Gurgaon , on a leisure trip with her hubby , jumped to death on 1st Jan '10 from a cruise ship in Bahamas !!!!!
Just married barely 4 mths. ago..............Beaten black n blue by her husband, she found death to be a better option than living that disgraceful life of being beaten or tortured. What a start to the New Year!!!!!!
It calls for Waking Up !!!!!

The Values of Forgiveness, Patience , Tolerance , Love......... Selfless love , are fast Diminishing!!!!

Forgiveness is one virtue which nowadays doesnot have much awareness ........ to the extent that we donot realise how important it is to have Forgiveness as a virtue.
The power of Forgiveness is such that , it is by Forgiveness alone that we can heal such wounds and restore the spiritual health of our inner being.
By Forgiving our tormentors, we donot do them a favour ............. but instead , we favour ourselves . You all must be thinking that there is something wrong in my statement or some "Chemical Locha" in my mind.............. but, the Logic behind my statement is........ If we donot Forgive someone who has wronged us , we keep thinking about the hurt he/she has caused upon us............. which leads to Depression , most of the times and that person being triumphant over us as he/she succeeds in disturbing our mental balance.
But, in Contrast, if we Forgive that person, we forego the hurt caused ........ buy our mental peace and in turn win /triumph over our Tormentors!!!!!
The beauty of this whole process leads to a liberating process for our soul!!!!
Mahatma Gandhi too has appreciated the importance of Forgiveness. He said,
" Forgiveness is the weapon of the strong. It is not the weapon of the weak"

I would like to give a call to the young brigade of India.......... who think Suicide is the end to all suffering............... not realising or rather I would like to put it that ways that being so insensitive and selfish , not to think of their parents, siblings, n others who really love them........... n ending their life without thinking how much their parents have sacrificed n worked hard to bring them up........what will be their plight thereafter.......will they be able to carry their children's corpses on their shoulders instead of being viceversa!!!!

As is famously said , "Girte hain shehsawaar maidan-e-jung mein, woh tifr kya girenge jo ghutnon pe chala karte hain"

If we surrender to our wounds/sufferings , where is the question of a fight back................or Healing............
Instead, Braveing n facing difficult situations is anyways a better n much more sensible option!!!!
I would leave it to you all, to give it a thought ............. as to which are better options in life?
Think of your Loved ones......... and the ones who really Love You.................
I had read this somewhere , and would like to end by quoting it..........

"When you have nothing left but Love, then, for the first time, you realise and become aware that Love is enough!! "

Let us make Love and Forgiveness an Inner Strength !

Miles to Go and promises to keep

Hi Friends,
The year 2009 has gone by and the year 2010 has just begun.I am sure each one of us must have become wiser because all of us must have learnt from the mistakes made in 2009.I firmly believe that "to make a mistake is human but to repeat a mistake is stupid".For an individual to evolve into a better human-being, it is imperative that each and every individual must learn from their past mistakes.Therefore , I assume that all of us are human but not stupid.
All , from Mr Obama to Mr Sarkozy, and Dr Manmohan Singh , must have realized that they should sink their differences and unite resolutely against the evils of corruption option,terrorism option,drug abuse options,prostitution option,and sex abuse option.And they should think innovatively to bring Heaven to the Earth for the peace loving,law-abiding citizens of the world.
Mr Barrack Obama,Mr Sarkozy,Mr Brown,and Dr Manmohan Singh along with other statesmen of the world must realize the mistake of sticking to their differences on global issues because of narrow , parochial interests.
If they want to bring "the Heaven to the Mother Earth,"they have to bring about a paradigm shift in their outlook to global issues and demonstrate greater unity & proactivity on global issues.
Let me take this opportunity to wish the peace loving and the law-abiding citizens of the world"a very Happy & Prosperous 2010".
Let the year 2010,be a year of love,compassion,economic prosperity,peace,and incredible global economic revival and economic growth.
At the same time,the global statesmen should deal sternly with frauds and terrorists options.Any threat to global ecology should also be dealt with equal intolerance.
Let us hope that good sense prevails in 2010,and the global statesmen led by Mr Barrack Obama and Dr Manmohan Singh of India join hands to widen the area of global economic cooperation and defence cooperation.And at the same time show greater intolerance to global terrorism & corruption options.
