Recruitment & Retention Strategies

In modern times,one of the greatest problem which employer of a Business Organization face is the increasing difficulty in maintaining balance between finding skilled manpower to replace the "Older employees gradually inching towards retirement".
Now a days,Business Organization understand and accept the substantial adverse impact of "employees Turnover" on their profitability.
For a Business Organization,it is very important to keep (a)Employees turnover cost low and (b) Recruitment cost low in order to maintain profitability as well as to maintain sustained superiority over their competitors.

According to me,Business Organization can improve their ability to attract, and retain skilled manpower as well as improve productivity by following "the following Five Steps'.
These "Five Steps"are:-

(a) Provide a positive work environment.

(b) Recognize,Reward and Reinforce "right behaviour" in your employees.

(c)Involve and Engage employees through "Employees Participation" in the "Decision - Making
    Process".

(d) Develop skills and potential skills of employees by using"Class room method of training as well
     on the Job training".
(e) Evaluate & constantly measure performance of employees through Competency Mapping performance measurement framework".In fact,Business Organization should extensively make use  of "Competency Mapping as a Strategic Planning & Management System".
